I got an amazingly comfortable and cool room with good coffee, LCD Tv with plenty of channels plus shower. The staff was kind, lovely, and everything was good. Also, location was marvellous, just a short stroll away from Joe Arroyo Statue...

We had a savoury and good breakfast with juices, Colombian selections and fresh fruit, could find something for everyone. The staff were all amicable and professional.

Big size and huge room with comfy beds, a balcony and an iron. Location near to Colombia and cafes and the tower. For tea or coffee visit Los Helechos nearby.

Hotel showing its age. Poor quality furniture in rooms. Not the best location.It looks far more impressive in the photo than the reality. Very noisy at night in the corridors. Mid way through my stay they tried to move me to a sister hotel not far away due to football supporters wanting to use the hotel I was currently staying in. I viewed the hotel they wanted to move me to and it was terrible, right opposite a service station that stank of diesel. Luckily I convinced them to let me stay on at the first hotel, Lucky escape I thought.The north of Barranquilla is far better structured, but where I stayed is very backward.

Close to many shops and conveniently located near everything in the area, this hotel offers great value for money. The staff maintains a high level of attention to detail and provides excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms, including a comfortable bed and TV, ensure a pleasant stay. Staff were completely dishonest when it came to settling your checkin policies/payment. They are working with a subcontracting firm out of Miami, Fl. And trying to bill your credit card in advance of your departure date, and converting local currency into U.S. dollars with the lowest rate available at the time. Dishonest reception personnel working with subcontracting agency, when your booking info is with Hotel .com not subagency. They charged my credit carda week prior to departure without sighning any kind of authorization. And then denied any king of acknowledgement. Very surprised an international american corporation Howard Johnson Hotel Inc. Reputation would be dismised for such business practices? Unprofessional reception and accounting management. Rcommend removal from your website!!

The location it offers is magnificent, just off supermarket and cafes and restaurants and night life and the tower. Very helpful and gentle staff, the breakfasts are satisfactory with Colombian selections.
